  1. K,

So I finish authoring a DVd that I made....I compile it and when I go to burn it " from the DVD lab burn utility I get this message

"The Path C:\desktop\DVD constuction\Video TS (Where i store my compile files) has no valid files, or some are missing. Did you forget to compile the DVD first."

Has any one gotten this error...cause when i check the folder where DVD lab compile I have the Video TS folder with VOB files in it???

    Please help!

  2. I use Img tool classic to make an image out of my video_ts and audio_ts files. Then i use DVD decryptor to burn it and it works like magic. Mabye try that since both of them are free.

So Can I use Burn at once instead of IMG?

Second question.....should I assume that this error is just DVD lab and that it was compiled....thus.....I will make and image then burn...instead of recompiling with Burn at once!

    Thanks

  4. I am not familiar with DVD lab. The method i was describing is ONLY using img tool classic and dvd decryptor.

As soon as you have your video_ts and audio_ts folders made, only use the two programs i mentioned. img tool classic will make a image file out of those folders, and then dvd decryptor will burn them to your dvd.

Since both tools are free and very easy to use (thanks authors!), you should not have any trouble using them...

So try that unless somoene else that is familiar with DVD lab replies.....

Try moving the output directory to another place (other than the desktop). The desktop is a folder on disk but behaves strangely with some applications. Also, try to avoid the space in the filename (DVD Construction)

Try creating a folder like "C:\DVD_OUT\" and store everything there.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

  6. I think I know your problem.

If you look in the video folder you'll only see vob files and not any others like the .ifo or .bup files that you also need.. right?

Ok if so, then dvd lab didnt compile properly and you probably missed the very short error message it gives before it finished compiling ( I have no idea why it just blinks this error message and then acts like everythings fine, sheesh).

The reason for the bad compile is because dvd lab evidently needs about three times as much free space on your hd as the size of the project your trying to compile - so if your making a 4 gig dvd and you dont have about 12 gigs of free space available then its not going to work right.

erase and free from space, try again and see how it goes.

If you are using the pro beta dvdlab then it has some bugs it needs to work out.
