Hello all and thanks for reading
Hope you can advise me on my problem
I have been trying to use dvdshrink it worked a couple off times fine but the other day it froze while doing the analysis it actually froze the whole pc and i had to reboot since then my computer takes a long time to start.
and i have tried a lot of my orig dvd just as a test and 50% will freeze during the analsis but not allways at the same spot.
I am using winxp
p-4 3.0
512 ram
nec1300a dvd
dvdshrink 3.1.4

I'll second that. Stable preferred versions (for me) are 3.1.7, 3.0 beta, and 2.3 in that order. If you fail to get at least one to work, your computer's got bad problems. Do a little housekeeping if you've not done so already. Good luck.

I'll give it a go now and let you know how it goes

try ripping with dvd decrypter first, and use dvdshrink to analyse from the files on the hard drive

run it through a few times with different setting and all seens to go fine
When i use dvdshrink and try to read the files on th HD that were created by dvd decrypter i get a message saying.
