    I just made a VCD movie with my burner and why it doesn't work with my T.V. DVD player? It only works with comp.

  2. Sorry i still dont understand it. There were too much Reading =) Do i need a specific CD-R/CD-RW to burn the vcd and work for my Sony DVD player? i checked my made
    CD-R VCD with a Real VCD and both of them has the same folders and stuff. AHHHHHHHHHH

  4. I have the DVD system DAV-S300
    But Does CD-R/CD-RW VCD really work on DVD players anyways?? If so then maybe i have to buy those good brand of CD-R's. Thanx

    If you would have just looked here:www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.html properly,
    then you would have seen that your player doesnt even play CDR's.
    A VCD on CDR will NOT play on your player.
    A VCD on CDRW will play on your player.
    Burn to CDRW instead of CDR.

  6. VCD compatibility is a completely separate thing to CD-R/CD-RW compatibility.

    Most DVD players are VCD compatibile (which means they will play VCDs on pressed CDs).

    Many, however, are not CD-R/W compatibile which means that they weren't designed to play recordable CD media. Not surprisingly, they don't do this well or at all (e.g., audio CDs on CD-R/W and VCDs on CD-R/W).

    For these players, you can still often find a brand of CD-R media that works but you will have to experiment. There is no one brand that works for everybody. Often in these cases, CD-RW works better so you should start there.
