The 9700 Pro should come with MMC 8 but I think will be an early level of verison 8.
I see some are having problems with v8.9 so after I install from the CD what is the best level to update to for function and stablility?
Thanks.

ATI MMC 8.7 is most stable. ATI MMC 8.9 is worth it, but be prepared for a pain in the butt.
