Is there a way to capture a still image from video in Adobe Premiere Pro? What I want to do is create a picture from a section of video for a project and I am working on and use that picture to print on the DVD and also use it as the background for the DVD, which is what they will see on the screen when they first put the DVD in. I am using a matrox RT.X10 capture card with the 5078 x.tools build. Thanks in advance for the help!

It's the same method as used in previous versions of Premiere.
1) Put the cursor on the image frame on the timeline you want.
2) Click: File > Export > Frame.
This will save your frame selected to a bmp. If you're going to print the image, it's best to De-interlace it in Photoshop (or equivelent). It's allso best to shrink the horizontal resolution to 640, so that you have the correct 4:3 aspect ratio @ 640 x 480. The image will not be distorted this way.Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
