  1. Is there a program that erases your pagefile upon reboot or something similar?

    sure -- make it zero size and reboot ...

    XP recreats the page file on each boot anyway ..

    you can clear it


    control panel > administrative tools > Local Security Policy

    In the pane on the left,

    Local Policies > Local Security Settings

    scroll to the bottom and you'll see a line that says

    "Shutdown: Clear virtual memory pagefile"

    Right click it and select enable.


    I like this tweak but it does slow your shutdown time considerably, so if you are doing something that requires that you reboot quite a few times in a row you'll want to disable this.
