  1. i want to make a dvd-r backup of the matrix, but there is a problem.

    here's what i did:

    1. inserted The Matrix dvd into my dvd drive.
    2. started up Anydvd (to transcode directly from the disc)
    3. started up Instant Copy 7.
    4. for the source, i chose the VIDEO_TS.IFO file in the Matrix dvd disc.
    5. when it finished transcoding, i mounted the .PDI image with daemon tools to watch it.

when i got to the part when neo says "Trinity, help!", the video skips to the part when neo is finished dodging the bullets.

so i burned the pdi on a dvd+rw, played it in the xbox, everything was fine.

then i played the dvd+rw on my comp, it skipped at that same part.

it never did this when i used dvdshrink to backup this movie, any reason why IC7 would do this?

dont mean to be funny but if shrink was working ok for you why use something else try copying it with shrink and see if it does the same good luck

UPDATE: that skipping problem only occurs when i play it with PowerDVD.

it played fine with windows media player.

it may also skip in your standalone depending on how it plays IC's output

PowerDVD normally plays everything but sometimes it doesn't and it's probably got something to do with the multiangles

p.s. couldn't resist as there's more to life than backing up DVD's

HAWAY THE LADS and bring on Sunda!!, hope it ain't a wasted journey
