Problem with Steven Spielberg's Taken

I can't seem to get this ripped. It gets up to 49% and then has read errors. I cleaned the disc and looked it over and don't see anything that would cause this on the physical media.

So far I used DVD Decrypter, SmartRipper, and DVDXCOPY. All 3 stopped at 49%.

Has anyone else copied this sucessfully? It is the first disc in the series.

The error that DVDXCOPY gives on ripping at 49% pops up and says "Encrypted Data."

Anyone have a clue as to how to rip this DVD?

Coincidentally I'm in the process of backing up Taken myself, I'm on disk 3 with no problems using DVDShrink 3.1.7. Are you using a seperate reader from your burner? If so try using your burners reader. Also, have you tried playing Disk 1 yet, maybe it's bad? You can also try DVDecryptor in "brute force" mode.

Thanks. I'm sending it back and getting a replacement from Netflix. Maybe it's a bad disc. If you can get disc1 to copy, will you let me know???
