Hi there,
I bought the LG GSA-4081B a few weeks ago. It was doing fine until for no apparent reason it won't read 100% of the data on DVDs data and video, writeable dvds and pressed original dvd movies.
I can't copy (using nero) data DVDs that I burnt in nero. I can't access all the files that I've burnt onto DVDs using windows explorer or TotalCommander. I can't copy DVDs using CloneDVD and AnyDVD. The progess meter just stops at whatever percentage usually about 20-30% and then everything goes to hell.
BUT it burns just fine!
The common problem with all mentioned is that it reads the DVDs to a certain percentage (or copies some of the selected files) then the entire computer freezes and I have to do a hard reset.
I'm running windows XP Pro SP1, 400W PSU, P4 2.4GZ, 1024 DDR ram. Writer has latest firmware too.
Thanks for any help!!!
