I have always used DVD Decryptor to backup my single layer dvd to a single blank dvd-r. Up until a couple of months ago, I performed this process with no problems. Recently I have been getting an error message when trying to write the image file that I created with DVD Decryptor. The program tells me that it cannot read a certain sector. By chance I tried to write the ISO/UDF image using DVD Clone at 1x speed and it worked fine, although it took forever. Can anyone offer any information as to why I am getting this error in DVD Decryptor. Some have suggested that it is the media that I am using, but I do not think this to be the case since I am using the same Ritek G04 discs (silver top) that I have always used and also since the error message seems to be pointing to the image file that was created and not the media. Thanks to anyone who may be able to offer some help.
