    Hi.

    I just got a new DVD writer NEC 2500A, its in an enclosure via USB.
    When i run Nero 5.5.10.42 OEM, i own get image options, not the drive.
    what the hell? Nero read the DVD writer, cause i can still check the disc on it.

    any ideas?

    Does your drive work at all? Can you read any disk? If so, try to download Nero 5.5.10.56 - newest release. I am sure it should recognize your drive. Don't use Nero 6 if you don't need its additional functions.
