  1. I had got an avi file with divx5 coedc and Mp3 CBR. Now I wanted to convert the movie so that I could watch it on my VCD Player. But whenever try converting the file using TMPG or Cucusoft Or MainConcept MPEG Encoder the audio always goes out of synch. I had separated the audio and video files using VirtualDubMOD and then decompressed the Mp3 audio Demuxxed using GoldWave. And then used separate Only Video and Only Audio files with TMPG and Main Concept. However audio is always out of synch. Then I tried scanning video stream for error like someone said in some other thread and then I went to Video --> Scan video stream for errors --> Errors (I dunno if this is right actually first I scanned the Video Stream for errors but after scanning nothing came up so I wanted o check) the dialog box hat came up said frames 3302-33510 are unreadable Mask Or Delete. So I said Mask and then again extracted the new video stream but yet the sound is out of synch. Also the synch is perfectly alright in the original video. Someone pls help. Should I say delete bad frames in VirtualDubMOD. If I say Deleet then wouldnt the video become shorter and then again ther'll be synch problems. PLZ HELP ME

  2. a lot of times audio/video synch issues are caused by mistakenly converting framerates or the sampling rate of the audio does not fit the format.

use gspot to determine the framerate and the sample rate of the audio stream.

make sure you resample your audio to 44100 hz for svcd.

    3302-33510 are unreadable
There are some guides here on how to remove bad frames and keep it all in sync, I've tried some and have had no success whatsoever. If I happen to stumble over an AVI that has bad frames, it's off to the recycle bin at once. IMHO, it has to be a very rare specimen if I should even consider bothering with a bad frames AVI.

  4. The framerate was converted according to the video cd template of TMPGEnc at 44100Hz so everything was perfect but now I think the problem is only the Bad Frames what should I do Masking doesnt help so should I delete them please provide links to the guides on this site
