    I can read and convert Divx files with Tmpg 12a but can't with TMPG 2. I get an error message. Any help would be great. Thanks.

    I have had the same problem in the past, what fixed it for me was:

    On TMPGenc file meny go to options and Environmental Settings then go to the VFAPI plug-in tab. On AVI File Reader, change the priority to 0(by right clicking Higher pri)

    Thats it.
