  1. I was thinking since most AVI movie files are aroun 700MB, would it be possible for me to burn 3-4 movies into 1 DVD-RW? Assuming I can convert AVI to DVD files?

A 700Mb avi file will almost certainly not correspond to a 700Mb mpeg2 DVD file. The size of the DVD file will be dependant upon the bitrate and the length of the movie.

See the Convert section to the left for more info.

  3. I have read the articles on the left bar. I cant find where it says how big would a 700MB AVI file if I convert to DVD. Presumebly it wont be 4.7GB. Also, I cant find anywhere whether I can include 2-3 AVI files into 1 DVD.

Ignore the size of the AVI files, the total video length is the only important. You can fit around 2 hours with very good video quality(if your source video quality is good then) and around 3-4 hours with decent quality(more like svcd).
