Menu help - change default highlighted button ??

As above, I'd like to change the default highlighted button on the main menu. However, I have no idea what command to change or where in the IFO. In this instance, when the menu comes up on first play, the highlight is button 3 - I want it to be button 4. tia for any help.

You can change it in the IFO or in the VOB file.

For the IFO file, the command is 56 00 00 00 10 00 00 00. You have all the commands on http://www.dvd-replica.com/DVD. You have to add it as a pre command of the menu PGC. You can do this with IfoEdit. It's one of the PGCs in the VTSM_PGCI_UT table. Which one? I can't help you there. It's your DVD - you have to look for it. IfoEdit has a built-in player. Play each menu PGC to find the one.

For the VOB file, you can use VobEdit. Check the "button" box and click on one of the Navigation Packs (which VOB ID, again, can't help you; you have to look for it, with MenuEdit for example). Under Button Highlight Information there's a "force select button number". Change it to 4. This overides any IFO highlight command.
