Ok, so i successfully made a 2 audio .avi file with Handbrake. Mighty fine app that is. So I Used VPC and subrip to rip the subs. All is well with that. Worked like a charm. Took forever tho. So, I have the avi file and .srt sub. To do a test before i mux them into matroska, I played the avi in vlc with the subs. Whenever it is supposed to be italic..........it displays the and . So I try it with mplayer. It gets rid of the and , BUT ITS NOT ITALIC! does anyone know how to fix this problem with either player?
