  1. Any have a suggestion for a lapel mic I can use while talking into my JVC? In particular, I'm looking form something that isn't wireless....just has to have a 20' cord.

  3. I just checked out Radio Shack and they have a lapel mic, but the cord is only 3.5' long...will a 12' extension increase noise too much?

    Best is an electret with a battery. You should be able to run an extension cable of 10-15 feet an not get any hum or noise. Might want to try the combo out in the store if they will let you to make sure.

    Yes, that would probably work OK. However, Sony sell that for $14.95US at the 'Sony store', so the price isn't that good.
