  1. i have this problem with the dvd i created ,it was some smallville episodes ,the source audio was stereo i made the dvd audio (AC3) Stereo and it plays fine but on tv there is a noticable hissing noise that is related to the picture...i used to have this happen in some satellite channels when the hissing increase with a bright picture or with white colors and decreases when the scene is dark ,when i play the dvd on a pc it's nearly un noticable but on many different tvs played through a ps2 or a standalone the noise is really annoying especially if there a sun on something it gets really bad.....

    anyone knows something about this?

    thnx

Try loading the AC3 file to Gold Wave. Select Effects-->Filter-->Noise Reduction-->Preset Shapes-->Remove Hiss.

Save as a wave file. Load the new wave file into Ffmeggui, and save as an AC3 file.
