  1. how do i uninstall a codec, say AC3 from AVI Xform. Since it doesn't seem to fking work.

  2. AC3 to AVI XForm is actually a FILTER named "MPGAudio.ax".

    I keep mine in the system32 directory of my win2k machine, and can unregister it by typing at a command prompt;
    "%WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32 /U MPGAudio.ax"

  3. You can use the Device Manager and look under Sound, video & game controllers.

    Look for the Audio Codecs - right-click & select Properties.
    The Properties tab next shows you installed audio codecs.

    You can use the Remove button to uninstall any.
