Hi, i'm just wondering how can i convert my .rmvb so that i can watch it on my dvd player on a television?

Basically i have couple episodes of some tv series in the format of .rmvb and i just want to convert it on to a dvdr so i can watch it with my dvd player on my television. I have an 8x dvd writer that I just bought so I have NEVER burned a dvd with it, just wondering if u guys can help me out.

Please be sure to include the programs I need to use and where I can get these programs. Another thing is, please be clear and use words a newbie like me can understand.

if so, does this convert rmvb directly into a dvd compatible file?
can u please explain step by step, i know i'm asking too much but i'm a newbie, i just want to know in detail so i can understand.

  5. the tool is called "Winavi".
its in the tools section on the left.
    <-------------------
it converts real formats to dvd compliant vobs and ifos, that can be burnt with nero 6,copytodvd,etc,etc.
takes bout 1 hour on an average pc.
    latest version is 5.8.
the only thing you need in order to use it,is make sure that you have real player/codecor real alternative(free from all the shite real networks like to stick in the player), installed as well on the pc.

  7. Ohsnap,
Actually WINAVI burns the disk for you, therefore u dont really need neros for tat part.
And if u do want to use NERO anyway, I believe u should pick the make video disk option.
