Well I'm using ConvertXtoDVD to try and convert my .rmvb's so I can burn them onto a DVD disc to play on my DVD player, however when I try to convert I get an error saying: "Error while opening decoder for stream #0.1". Does anyone know how to fix that error so I can convert my videos? Thanks in advance.

ConvertX should have handled this, but you might download and install Real Alternative Player so you can view the files. This also installs the RM codec which may help. Can't hurt, anyway. RMVB is one of the harder formats to convert as it's very proprietary. Real doesn't really want you to do that, so they are no help.

I'm using ConvertXtoDVD 2.1.14.233 only because the newer version requires me to purchase it again ><

I tried installing Real Alternative Player and it popped up with the same message.

  5. For version 2, you need the following .dll's in the ConvertXtoDVD directory. Google for them.

    drv23260.dll
    drv33260.dll
    drv43260.dll
    Pncrt.dll

    Here they are:
