    .rm = real media file

    .rmvb = RealMedia Variable Bitrate file

    So .rmvb and .rm = same thing!

    NTSC is not a "region"

    NTSC and PAL are video formats.

    These are entirely separate from the concepts of regions. Regions are a BS scam to (attempt to) prevent people from buying movies from other countries. This was so MPAA studios could do price-fixing (for example, a movie in Australia might cost ~$40USD, while same movie in USA costs $20USD). It would be cheaper to import, but regions makes it harder. Regions have largely disappeared with HD discs (I've not followed the exact story here, I just know it's now different).

    All-in-one software does whatever it wants. If you don't understand the video, you're at the mercy of whatever decision it wants to make. Sadly, that kind of software often makes the wrong choices. You need to learn more about video, and use dedicated tools for the exact task desired.

    This maybe better for you if you want a simple, all in one program.

    You will need to download the realone player to use with this. There's a link to it on the page above
    Super DVD Creator is $29.90 to buy but there is a free trial.

  7. When using convertxtodvd for .rmvb (or .rm) files, you need to copy 4 .dll files to your install directory (usually C:\Program Files\VSO\ConvertXtoDVD)

    For more information and where to find the .dll's : http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/about7348.html
