    I have a PS2 and it plays a DVD-R okay, but it won't play a DVD+RW. Will the PlayStation 2 only play DVD-R and DVD-RW? Thanks

    I made trials for my g'daughter's PS2 version ??, and the only one that would play is +R, bitset to ROM.

    You might consider yourself lucky with the -s..

    Or you might try the Booktype tool tool if you really want to use +s.

    Mine play both (+/-) perfectly for most of the time. I had some problems (skipping) with cheap DVD-R media written at 4x but that's about it.

    Playstation 2 v4 with Magic 3.1
