"GoBack is unable to determine which of you drives is the boot drive". I'm trying to reinstall Roxio GoBack Deluxe 3 (now owned by Symantec) after a hard drive crash a couple of weeks ago. I found this article http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/goback.nsf/docid/2003030413270207?OpenDocument&sr...e&csm=no&tpre=
This can happen when one or more hard disks on the computer is a Dynamic Disk. GoBack is not compatible with Dynamic Disks and you cannot install GoBack on a computer that uses a Dynamic Disk]The only problem with this fix is that none of my disks are Dynamic ... they're all basic. My harddrives include 120GB WD ATA100 7200 RPM (15 GB partition as C:\ and 105 GB partition as D:\), 250GB WB ATA100 7200 RPM (G:\), 160GB Seagate SATA 7200 RPM (H:\) & 60GB Seagate External Firewire 7200 RPM (I:\).To use GoBack on a computer that uses a Dynamic Disk, you must first convert the Dynamic Disk to a Basic Disk.
This is a tough one ... and I know it's a long shot ... Any thoughts or suggestions?
