  1. My DVD player when I put a vcd,dvd, or cd in it all it says "No Disc" when there are discs in it does anyone know how to fix this?

    unplug the dvd player.

  3. Your DVD player wasn't designed to read CD-R/W media.

    You will have to experiment with different brands to find one that works.

    CD-RW media often works better in these cases.

    If you can hear the player trying to constantly read the disks, then try this.
    Open the player up, locate the lazer and the guide it runs along. Turn the player on and watch them - it may be jammed. I had it once with a Sony CD player, "all" you have to do is "unjam" it "somehow". Failing that, try to determine what causes the player to recognise that there is a disk inside and see if you can find anything wrong. If it is a mechanical failure then it is "normally" easy to fix. However, if it is an electronic failure then take it to an electronics store and get it looked at.
