Converting to MPEG

I Have a file in Avi and it play very well in the windows media player

Ficheiro : 698 MB (698 MB), duração 1:40:59, tipo AVI, 1 audio stream(s), qualidade 57 %

Video : 558 MB, 773 Kbps, 23.976 fps, resolução 576*304 (16:9), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Suportado

Audio : 139 MB, 193 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 canais, 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3, Suportado

But when i try to convert to Mpeg whit TMPGEnc so i can convert to DVD Whit TPMGEnc DVD AUTHOR after When finished i have a file whit 4.3 GB but now it just dont play in windows media player and it wont open in DVD AUTHOR.

It s the first time that this happen to me.
What can i do?

what template (or what settings) are you using in TMPGENC. You might want to try dvd2svcd to do all of the settings.
