Another "simple" question like "How long is a peice of string"
It depends on the player... -
Ring/Email Sony and get it from the horse's mouth
P.S. My guess would be no. Sonys are crap when it comes to CDR.

sony are fine, vivastar run and are cheep so Im not complaining, as to phoning them, yeah right they think Im some sort of crazy fool :-p
-
Sorry dude... Sony are crap whem it comes to playing CDRs Many dont even play CDRs - You have got a lemon, get a decent player like... a pioneer... like me
.
In the DVD Players list of this site, it says that they dont even play CDRs anyway: As to whether it has the ability to play 99min CDRs I highly doubt.
In the words of Mr T himself:
"You crazy fool."
LOL
Take it back to Dixons and demand a refund.

sorry mate but im a snob when it comes to hi-fi equipment, pioneers for skint tossers with no class. I like refinement in my living room
-
LOL! I have an £800 Audiolab stereo Amp, and £1500 Monitor Audio speakers! £200 interconnects... I could go on. I am a super HI-FI snob, my pioneer DVD player used to be considered one of the best at the price! At least it plays CDRs, hehe. I only got it because it was an offer i couldnt refuse, £199 with 4 DVDs! At the time that was very cheap - 2/3 Years ago now i think... I want a Tag Maclauren (formally AudioLab) DVD player next, it is over £1000! Sony - Pah. Lame ass wannabe psuedo-quality brand name crap dude!
I have a Sony 28" W/Screen 100Hz TV - it fuckin rocks!
-
But... yes, Im still on 56K. I live in Cornwall - What do you expect? ADSL/Cable is MILES away.
-
war I believe, Well atleast Im noway near dixons
Revox picolo speaker dare I say 4500 squid for 4colums a center & a sub, sony 940 reciever with touchscreen remote £800 (paid 450+50 for remote), and the player you know about which I got for £250 down from 400, all I need now is somthing to wath it on, what do you think BIG tv or projector ?

mmmm, a fellow HiFi snob
.
I have never been a fan of projectors (projectors are for schools), I like TVs better, besides I have no space for a projector. What about an ALBA? Only kidding... I would get a Sony W/S wega 32" (100Hz model), they are exceptional TVs, by far the best for the price mark of around £1000 - maybe up to £2000.
I am gald to read that you steer clear of old "Dickies", I only buy my equipment from high-end outlets, mind you the my TV was from Dixons, £200 off the RRP - An offer I couldnt refuse, hehe. What cabling do you use? The standard bell wire (lol)or something more fitting? Like my Cable Talk Biwire @ £16/Metre and my £200 Signature 2 Gold RCA innterconnects? What amps do you have? A lame ass Sony (
Have to go now, I'll reply in a few hrs
-
Sorry... the amps - forgot you said you had a Sony reciever. However, that was £800: Now that has a Tuner, DD, and god knows what other gadetry. My Audiolab was £800 and it has 6 Line-ins (an input selector switch + a source record switch), a volume control knob and a remote (no fancy touch screen jobie either), thats it. For outright Stereo quality, I think I win the war there. hehe.
You may win the speaker war though, even though I only have 2 and you have 6! Wait a mo... 1500/2=£750 per spkr. 4500/6=£750 per spkr, also! Looks like we are even with the speakers then! LOL
When I finally have enough money for a DD cinema setup, Im thinking about a Tag Maclauren Decoder with 5 mono-bloc power amps. When I have enough money that is... it will set me back ££££'s!
:O
P.S.
"not miles more like years hahahaha "
yeah... that's more like it, light years: I dont think anyone in Cornwall even has access to cable yet! -
My Pioneer DV-333 plays up to 90:00 (doesnt work for anything higher).

my toshiba portable played mine fine but all the way up to the end where my burner failed
