I have a DVD with a scratch so I can't play it on my dvd-player.
My DVD-ROM does still read it OK so I want to make a
copy to VCD.
Smartripper decrypts one vob file and then asks me to unlock the
next file. So I used cladDVD to rip the DVD.
Then dvd2avi to create the wav file and the project file for
TMPEGenc. With tmpegenc I make the 2 VCD disks.
The result is a disk with the sound not in synch with the video
(almost a second delay in the video) during the pre-movie
anouncements but NO sound in the main movie.
Where did I go wrong? How can I make a good backup of this
DVD?
The DVD is Titan AE and my DVD-ROM is a Creative DVD
Encore Dxr2 but I use PowerDVD software playback.
Regards,
Marcel

uh...did u check the .wav file first b4 using it in tempgenc?
also, there is an "audio skew" option under the "source range" filter in the advance settings section...u can tell tempgenc to start the .wav file earlier or later in the encoding...but this is only if your sound is outta sync the exact same amount throughout the movie...
