Hi... here is my problem:
I have a DVD-Movie which I have ripped to my HDD. The movie is 3hrs long and so I have split it over 2 discs (using IFOEdit). I have also then copied the original menu files over.
Both discs work fine. The problem is with menu. The main menu has 5 links:
1. Play - Plays movie
2. Scenes - Chapter Selection MENU
3. Songs - Song Selection MENU
4. Subtitles - Subtitle Selection MENU
5. Audio - Audio Selection MENU (directors commentary etc.)
The probelm is with the scenes menu... the layout of the scenes menu is as follows:
SCENES MENU = 6 pages, each page has links to 4 chapters (24 chapters in total), each page also has the following links: main menu, play all, previous page, next page.
Now, I have edited the menu for the first disc so that it shows the first 3 pages of chapter selection but on the third page I have de-activated the "NEXT" button so you cannot move to the 4 page of the chapter selection (and so no access to page 5 and 6 also). This is great because those chapters do not exist on this disc. The menu works great and everything is brilliant!
The problem is with the second disc. How do I do it so that when the user clicks "Scenes" from the Main Menu, the Scenes Menu comes up but not from page 1 but from page 4? (because obviously there are no scenes from page 1 to 3 on this disc only pages 4 to 6).
Is there a way of doing it with VOBEdit or IFOEdit? And if so then please can you explain to me how...
Alternatively is there an easier way of doing this?
Thanks guys.
