Hi Guys,
I build a project using the original Shawshank Redemption and adding my original french canadian translation from a VHS copy. Now, I want to use the original DVD menu from my Shawshank DVD's but i don't know how. I used Muxman to multiplexed my audio and video files but how can I retrieved the original menu and adding it to my destination project.
Thanks again for your help. It's a great place to find answer.
Jon

Open the original DVD in VobBlanker (the one with the menu). Highlight the VTS with the movie so it appears in the lower screen. Highlight it in the lower screen and hit the "Replace" button to the right. Scroll to the VTS_01_0.IFO of the new Muxman authored DVD, give it an Output Folder, and Process.

thanks Manono, just to be sure. I have to use my original DVD from which I opened Video_TS.ifo in VOBBLANKER. I highlighted the VTS in the Titleset section of the screen. After that, I will have informations in "PGCs in selected Titleset" section of Vobblanker. Then, I highlighted the sequence in "PGCs in selected Titleset" and I clicked "Replace". At this point all I need is to replaced VTS_01_0.IFO from my authored dvd with an output directory (does it have to be the same as the authored dvd ?)
Thanks again for your help -
It doesn't work. Here is the message I get :
VTS 01: Keeping Cell VID/CID: 01/01 --> 01/01
Input error: Reached end of VOB too early
PostCommands changed into Precommands in 0 PGCs of a total of 0
Finished with ERROR. Process Aborted and not completed -
Sorry. I was away for awhile so I couldn't help. I'm glad you got it figured out. And your next similar project will go much more quickly now that you know how to do it.
By the way, if you're replacing the original audio, there's no problem. But if you're adding a second audio to the original, it might not work unless you first "turn it on" in the IFOs, using PGCEdit. If you have any problems just come back and ask.
