Copy DVD with only main menu

does anyone know of a program that will let you remove extras and subtitles and also have the main menu play before the movie does? I can have the main menu play first when i use full disc mode but then i cant cut out extras unless i reauthor, which messes up the main menu.

clonedvd is pretty good at this.

I have actually tried this, but the "problem" I found with CloneDVD is that it only allows you to backup onto one DVD-5 (DVD+/-R) disc.

So in my case, I had a huge movie on dual-layer (DVD-9) format, so when I opened it in CloneDVD, it was giving me a compression ratio of around 45% (way to low for my liking!).

CloneDVD would be better if there was a way to split the movie among two DVD+/-R discs, or a way to set start/stop points.

I agree that clonedvd has very limited functionality, but for simple backup purposes where you would like to keep the menus, it's works great.

thanks! does clonedvd play the main menu before the movie begins though when you play copied dvds?
