Hi All - hope someone can help me here - I'm trying to convert a clip from DIVX to DVD with CCE and AVIsynth (for resizing) but when I open the AVS in VDUB the colours have changed - any flesh tones have gone blue !!
The AVI opens and plays fine and when I've checked the file information in VDUB it shows as FourCC code: Divx 4.x and its decompressed using Divx 4.12. When I open the AVS it shows FourCC: YUY2 Unknown and the decompressor as YUV 4:2:2 (YUY2).
Any one any ideas how I can get VDUB (and mplayer) to use the DIVX 4 codec for the AVS file too ??
    Cheers all

  2. You could try a Fourcc description code of 'Div4' and a Fourcc code of 'DIV3' . That works ok for me (might not for you though!).

The problem lies somewhere within Avisynth as by the time the video gets to Vdub the frames are uncompressed anyway so it has know idea of the original codec used. Hence you differences on your Vdub information screen between the avs and the original avi

Hey Feenix - thanks for your reply - I've actually just found the answer to this from digging deeper on the Avisynth website than I've been before - just inserted swapuv() into the script and hey presto.

    Cheers
