I've converted a number of VCD files to DVD using SVCD2DVD each using its own VTS with the following problems...
1. It plays blocky on PowerDVD XP 4.0
2. It plays with clear with no sound on WMP
3. It plays clearly on BSPlayer but out of Synch!
The MPEGs play fine on PowerDVD before I convert.
I've converted many SVCDs without a hitch.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried both VCDGear and VCDXrip options but both produce the same results.

There is only 1 problem svcd2dvd doesn't convert de video so the blocks should be there already.
So your version of powerdvd is funny cause mine doesn't show blocks after converion. As for the audio sync that is the biggest issue when burning VCD on DVD. You can solve it by reading the sticky about audio/video sync.Greatings,
