Received an error with the resolotion of the mpg's extracted from a svcd cue file being 420x420 as opposed to the required 720x420 in order to be authored to dvd properly using tmpgenc dvd author. The fps was 29.7 My question is how do I get the resolution from 420x420 to 720x420 to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance

That's 480x480 and 720x480.
The best way to convert it is to look up SVCD to DVD in the guides section over there <-<-<-. There's several ways to do it including leaving it as is, many SVCD capable DVD players will play it."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa -

The only sure fire way to make sure you don't have future problems is to convert it to a DVD compliant MPEG-2 using a resolution that is OK with DVD. This means you could re-encode at 720x480 or 352x480 but it does mean RE-ENCODING which will lower the quality a bit.
So that is the number one reason I would try the trick to see if it works with your stand alone DVD player. Otherwise it is re-encode time.
