  1. Lately I have been wasting time ripping movies that does not have any audio. I use DVD2ONEX, and it gives me multiple choices to select the audio version that I want. Mostly, they are 2CH, 6CH, or DTS6CH. I learned earlier on that the 2CH is the mostly accepted audio, but on occassion 6CH is the preferred audio once I try it out on my iMac's DVD player prior to burning. How can I save time by always choosing the right audio? Could I just click on both 2CH and 6CH?

I've always used the 6ch audio.

You can use both, but it'll leave less space for your video files.

  3. I always try to choose the 6CH, but on occassion there is no audio when I try it out on the Mac's DVD player, so I have to redo DVD2ONEX using the 2CH selection. Can I just click on both then?

you can do whatever you want really... but its pointless to choose more than one audio channel for the same audio
ie 6ch and 2ch on the movie. Just a waste of space if you ask me

I always choose the 6ch audio because the 2ch you have to actually pull up before you can hear anything

just an extra button, but i like it to just start automaticlaly

  5. I must be doing something wrong if the end product of my DVD2ONEX has no audio when I play it. It's just been a 50/50 chance lately, so whenever I don't get audio, I just end up deleting the file and choosing the other audio option, and then it works. I just hate having to go thru the whole DVD2ONEX process, especially if it takes more than an hour. Such a waste of time

  6. I think you will find that the audio you have selected is there but you have to change the audio selection....ie if say there was a choice of 6ch audio and 2ch audio the 6ch might be the default that plays when you put it in a DVD player...DVD2ONEX doesn't change the default audio channel if you selected the 2ch only.....So you would have to change the audio track on the Apple DVD player to number 2 or on your DVD player...

    correct
typically the 1st in the list is the one that will play automatically. I bet the audio is there. The only way not to get any is to not select any and that is impossible
