Compression Codecs won't appear on VirtualDub??

I have picvideo and huffy and a bunch of others but only a handfull show up on VD. Does anyone know why?

not all codecs can compress all color formats. try changing among RGB, YUV, etc, until you get what you want.

also, try to stick with a format your card supports natively. some cards use the CPU to convert from YUV 4:2:2 to RGB, and that's unnecessary if you can just compress from YUV, and vice versa
