I have been trying to rip a dvd I ran it through smart ripper and dvd2avi right by the books but tmpg wont recognize the video file (D2V)it will recognize the audio file though. i TRIED D/L THE LATEST VERSIOON AND HAVE ALL the plugins???? I f any body has any advice let me know.

You might have downloaded and installed the VFAPI Plugin for TMPGEnc, but are you sure you installed it into the same directory as TMPGEnc and executed the *.bat file?

Will it not recognize the D2V file or will tmpegenc not allow you to choose the the D2V file. If it won't let you choose the D2V file, you have to go under "environmental settings" and check the option that allows you to choose audio and video from two different files. The exact option escapes me at the moment but I'm sure you'll see what I'm talking about once you look.

I have the same problem!!
I´ve already converted a couple of movies this
way but now it won`t work anymore.
help would be very nice.
it won`t open the d2v file ( not suported )

open the D2V file with notepad and check that it is pointing to the right path where the actual VOB files are.
