Can I used DVDDecrypter with Pinnacle Studio8 or InstantDVD?

Hi

This is my first post so I apologise if this is a dumb question. I would like to know if I can use DVD Decrypter with either InstantCD+DVD (7.06 OEM) or Pinnacle Studio (V.8 SE) which cam bundled with my Pioneer DVR-A06?

My Brother purchased the Medion dual format DVD writer the other week for his computer and would be grateful to know if could also use DVD Dvcrypter with his bundled software? (Win DVD Copy, WIN DVD Recorder, Win DVD Creator & Win Disc Master).

What do you mean use it "with" it?

I have Studio and I use DVDDecrypter, but they do different things. All the software I have tends to handle different aspect of video development. What are you trying to accomplish?

Hi

All I want to do is burn back-ups of some DVD movies for use in a poratble dvd player or laptop.

As I can a novice to dvd-writng, I just want a simple method/software package to do this task.

Then use DVD Shrink
It's a free utility that will rip (take te files from the original DVD, remove the copy protection and save to your HDD) and encode (reduce the file size so that you can fit the contents to a blank DVD-r.
DVDdecryter is a standalone programme that simply rips (it's excellent BTW).
Look at DVD Shrink, it's exactly what you're looking for b ut you'll also need software to burn to yoru DVD'r.
I suggest RecordNowMax bu tif you aleready have Nero DVD Shrink will utilise it so your backuop process is all in one.
You'll find prenty of DVD Shrink guides on the left of your screen.

I downloaded DVD Shrink as you suggested and burned it with my oem edition of Nero6 that I'd just brought from SVP. DVD shrink really is a great piece of software.
