    if i take out all but the dd 5.1 tracks when im compress it and i play it in someones dvd player that only has 2 speakers or a non dd 5.1 setup it will still play sound just not 5.1 right?

    Right, a non-DD 5.1 DVD player will downmix the 5.1 to stereo.
