Hi everyone,
first timer posting, long time lurkerI'm capturing stuff (mostly music vids) off digital TV (768x576 - PAL) and i've noticed that when there is fast movement, either side to side or up and down i get this annoying flickering. this happens even after i have deinterlaced the video.
it's kind of like lines rapidly appearing then dissapearing where the movement is taking place. i'm capturing with a Leadtek TV2000 XP Deluxe on a 1.3 GHz Celeron, 512Mb RAM. I do have a VIA chipset - could this be my problem? the problem dissapears when i only capture one field (384x288).
other than this problem the captures are great quality. any help appreciated people.
cheers,
cliffo

Well, I know this is an old question but your description sounds like the same problem I'm having with the same TV card. I also have a VIA based board. Did you ever come up with an explanation or solution?
