  1. I've downloaded a DTS trailer from site. I want it to convert into wav file. How can I do this and which software can I use. It is played in media player but no sound is heard only video is seen.

    I don't believe you can.

    The reason why you cannot hear the DTS track is because you don't have a dts decoder.

  3. PowerDVD comes with a software DTS decoder so you can playback DTS audio on any PC - no hardware decoder required. Given that, a solution would be to hook your sound cards' speaker port to your soundcards' AUX in port, play the movie, select the audio DTS track and record using any decent audio software like: Goldwave, Adobe Audition/Cooledit, Soundforge etc.

    You wil need to purchase a stereo min din plug to mini din so as
    to hook up your sound card.

    Here it is but it's a DOS command,I don't know if there's a GUI: http://hypercubemx.free.fr/html/download1.html

    BTW...I would use Audacity to record the sound to WAV/MP3.In MS volume control go to "Recording" and select "Stereo Mixer" or "What You Hear".
