  2. PLEASE STOP SHOUTING! We're not deaf.... Uhh, anyway... Capitals are SHOUTING. Please don't do it!

With regards to your question, it's really up to you to decide this. I like Nero because it's quite simple to use, but I have used CDRWin in the past and this prove competant, even if the user interface isn't brilliant.

You can download trial versions of all these packages. Give them a shot, see which you like the best and go for it!

I know there are lots of Nero haters, but I use Nero almost exclusively
now for burning audio CD's, MP3 CD's, DIVX and XVID (which I play in
the Liteon LVD 2001), VCD's, SVCD's, BIN files, and DVD's.

  4. For CD's Nero 5.5 is great and you can probably pick it up online for <$50 CAN.

I prefer using RecordNow Max for DVD's.

  6. Been doing this for years, and refuse to use anything but Nero... I take that back, ive also used Alcohol 120 for burning images.

  7. I like Sonice Recordnow DX which came with my Lite-On 411s. In my opinion you should stick to whatever burn program came with your burner because that is the recommended one.
