Has anyone had any experience with this?? Is it a good digital converter? I've got a digital camcoerder, the trv38, but can't seem to get it to pass through the video..and am looking for alternatives.
Any help would be appreicated.
Thanks!

If you intend to capture quality video signals, like strong TV station,
cable TV, LD/DVD player, Sat. TV, and etc, MovieBox DV is fine. If your
video signal is not good, like some old video tapes, I believe there
are better alternatives. I will not recommend it unless you can find
a very cheap one (<$100). I got my MovieBox for under $100 about 6 months
ago. I am already considering to replace it with Canopus ADVC100. -
I got the Box for a while now, at first i was very pleased with it, i was capturing from good quality analogue video from my camcorder, and had no problems with that.
But when i started to capture from poor quality VHS tapes, i had much problems, which are only partly solved when i returned my box to my shop and got a new one.
Like xxiangg said, your source needs to be high quality.
Take a look at the capture card section, where i also made some comments.
And search for my thread about the box, where u'll find my expierience with it.
