  1. I authored a VIDEO_TS folder out of 42 mpg files using ffmpegx. the problem is, it is about 150mb too big to fit on a dvd-r. i figured no problem, i'll just knock down the size with dvd2one. well...it's not working...as soon as dvd2one starts scanning...it quits. any ideas why it is doing this or does anyone have another solution for me?

I got exactly the same problem since I installed Panther using DVD2One.

It don't quits, but during the process, each time since i'm running Panther, the latest DVD2One v.1.3.0 shows me the same alert message :

"The logical block number does not match with the actual position in the file.
Make sure you copy all files from the DVD to HD in file mode".

I'am affraid we'll be obliged to wait for the new DVD2One update.

Are you trying to use DVD2OneX to work on VIDEO_TS folders that contain non-MPEG2 video and/or non-full D1 resolution video?

  6. If you have a .ifo and everything in your VIDEO_TS, you could give DVDRemaster a try (look on versiontracker). There's a demo so you can test... not sure if it'll handle MPEG1 though, but you can try... Don't think it'll work though if you just have the .vob and no menu and no .ifo

  7. I have the full VIDEO_TS on my HD. I can play this video TS using Apple DVDPlayer. But I cannot resize it with DVD2One, I got errors, I did a try with DVRRemaster and it crashed... and it also crashed my computer.

I never had any problem to copy my DVDs before I installed 10.3 on my computer...
