I am wondering what is a good web site to buy a cable like this (but without the 3 adapters). I went to BestBuy and told them what I was looking for and they looked at me like I was speaking Japanese. Can anyone help?

What you want is very rare, you'd be very lucky. I may be wrong, they are no longer available today.

I do have video cable like this: one BNC to one RCA. It isn't in any use at the moment and I am using the BNC adapters to connect an old BETA VCR with a VHS VCR.

The BETA machine is only in use as a sender to the computer's video card via the VHS machine.

Well, lucky you. You got it. Are all plasma screens need this type of cables?

Well, one day I'll get a large screen monitor with a HDTV box receiver and a DVD player. Should be great viewing.

Not all TV's have BNC connections. In fact most don't, but I didn't buy a consumer grade television. I got a commercial grade, the kind you would see in the background on news shows or something. It's the Panasonic TH-42PHD6UY in case anyone is interested.

  6. wouldn't it be a lot easier to buy three of these and connect them up to a normal RCA cable?

You are right. I should have gotten 3 of those thingies. I went to Radio Shit and they wanted $5 each for them! Well, I needed a good component cable anyways so I just got one that exactly met my needs. I don't know if it would have been cheaper because a good cable is expensive. If I need a cable with RCA on both ends, maybe I will be able to find 3 female BNC to Male RCA connectors.
