Hello, I'm a newbie, I've searched the forum for a solution but was unsuccessful. I'm pretty low tech too.
Can anyone tell me how to connect my laptop (Toshiba Satellite model# L510-016) which has a VGA port to my TV (Samsung) which has S-Video, RCA composite (yellow, red and white) or RCA component (blue, red and green). I want both video and sound come up on my tv. Which cables, converter, etc do i need and how do i hook up.
Thanks so much in advance for you help.

Covered many times. Search VGA to S-Video converter.
If your laptop lacks S-Video out you need a converter box. The picture quality will be poor. For example http://sewelldirect.com/pc-to-tv-adapter.asp?ad_source=GoogleAdWords&ad_medium=PPC&ad_...FVk65QodlkG-ZA
Don't fall for the cable adapters. They don't work with laptops.
