Ok I have an AVI file that I converted from RM I compressed the AVi file and I set it so the video can keep up with the audio but whne I play it the video is 5-3 seconds behind the audio what frame rate should I use the file is 125 mb it runs at 895.1 kbps and the time is 19:38.5 when the original RM file was at 19:40.0

    and the quality of the original file was 80kbps please help me and tell me what frame rate I should use

    well.. not really enough info.. is your computer fast enough to play a 900 kbps mpeg4? what probably is the problem (if you used tinra to do the conversion) is you had a variable bitrate rm.. by what ive seen that means your 'screwed' if you used a screen capture than was your pc fast enough to do the capture... thats a factor as well

  4. in virtual dub set the video to direct stream copy and the audio to direct stream copy and then go into the interleaving under audio. From there it tells you how to try to sync the audio and video i.e. "use +/- numbers if the audio is behind the video yada yada yada" You just have to fool with it until you get it right.
