    i have a liteon 451s dvd burner and got new firmware for it and now it wont burn dvd-r's. im using memorex 4x dvd-r's and they all fail at 99% or the lead out in nero 6. i have memorex +r's, i just burned a movie w/ +r and it worked. anyways im gonna return the 851s, and was lookin at the liteon 811s. does anyone have anything good to say about that drive? also what could be causing the problem with the dead -r's?

    I'd start my investigation by looking at what people are saying about Memorex media.
