Important low res movies (wmv) to adobe encore?

Hellow,

I want to make a dvd with adobe encore and some bad-quality/low res movies from the net! (some friends made)

When I import a high-res wmv it doesn't give me trouble, but when I want to import some low res (320x..) it doesn't work! Is their a way to make the program "believe" it's hig-res? Or just to make it high-res without too much effort... (like modding the properties)

I don't want to reencode every little clip! (it's ALOT)

Ps: I know the result isn't going to be "good", but I still want to make it!

It will only support importing of certain res video files. Since they're going to have to be encoded to MPEG2 for putting on disc anyway you may as well do the encoding to MPEG2 elementary streams beforehand and import those. If your transcode settings are correct in Encore it will see that the files are already encoded and won't have to transcode them prior to authoring the disc. I use TMPGEnc for all my video files before importing them. It has more control over the MPEG compression than Encore does anyway. Turn the files into .m2v (MPEG2 video stream) and whatever audio format you feel comfortable with (though if they're WMV you'll probably just want to use PCM).

It indeed works great, speed is ok and output is best I good get with the originals...

First had some probs with the seperate audio- and video-file (there is no way to make them 1 in that res with that program is there) but that's easy fixable by dragging it into the timeline!
