    Hi there,

    recently made some backups of a few films of mine and tried to play in a PS2.

    The films played alright but in B&W.

    I copied using DVD Shrink 3.0 and burned using Nero6

    Any ideas why this is?

    As far as I am aware both TV and PS2 are both PAL

    Sounds suspiciously like the PS2 ain't. Or like it isn't region-free, or something like that.

    But of I bought in UK then surely the PS2 is as It plays the originals OK?

    Make sure the DVD's you are backing up in whatever program is set to PAL, maybe look at the region fixing, I know DVD Shrink has a multi region setting, try setting that to region 2 and see what happens?

    I haven't tried this before so let me know if you are sucessful, I haven't tried ANY of my backup's in my PS2, Hummmm will have a play today :P
